2017 FAFSA Completion Night

Important Information for Seniors and Their Parents!
The First Step to Applying for Financial Aid

Wednesday, November 8th in the cafeteria at 6pm, we will be hosting a Financial Aid/ FAFSA Completion night for 12th grade students and their parents or guardians. This is for any senior going to a 2 or 4 year college or university, trade school, business school, or any other post secondary program.

A rep from the PA Higher Education Assistance Agency will be here to walk you through the process step-by-step and computers will be available.

The FAFSA asks for information about you and about your financial situation. You will need
the following information or documents as you fill out the FAFSA:

  • Your Social Security number
  • Your child’ Social Security number
  • Your driver’s license number if you have one
  • Your child’s driver’s license
  • Your Federal tax return for 2016 including IRS W-2 information, for you (and your spouse, if you are married), and for your child
  • Records of your untaxed income, such as child support received, interest income, and veterans non-education benefits
  • Information on cash; savings and checking account balances; investments, including stocks and bonds and real estate but not including the home in which you live; and business and farm assets for you

In addition, you should create a FSA ID at fsaid.ed.gov prior to our FAFSA Completion Night.
