Pennsylvania Route 6 Heritage Communities Union City and Corry are launching two unique Visitor and Heritage Centers that showcase each community’s rich past and promising future. Both centers feature an interactive kiosk, Route 6 and area maps, local fare, and clean restrooms. The Visitor Centers mark their grand opening on Thursday, August 23 with two public ribbon cuttings: 

4 p.m. at D&T’s Market and Welcome Center, 100 South Main St., Union City.

5 p.m. at Gigi’s Route 6 Diner & Heritage Center, 344 East Columbus Ave., Corry. 

The public is also encouraged to attend the community celebrations surrounding the ribbon cuttings:

Gigi’s Route 6 Diner & Heritage Center Grand Opening & Cruise-in, 5-9 p.m. 

D & T’s Market & Welcome Center Customer Celebration, 2-7 p.m.
