It is my goal to continue working with individuals, couples and families to reach their full potential by implementing necessary structure, communication, and change.
I have the experience, education and training which allows me to provide outstanding support to the families I serve. I am dedicated to working with children and their families affected with special needs, including but not limited to Autism, Asperger’s, ADHD, Conduct and Mood Disorders. I was part of the Education system (public and private) both as a Special Education Teacher and by Establishing and Directing a Non-Public School for Children with Autism. I have written and implemented over one hundred (100) Individual Education Plans (IEP’s). I worked for the County of San Diego, California providing both individual and group counseling for documented gang members. I have provided staff trainings, consultation and run groups for several School Districts and County Organizations.
My undergraduate degree was obtained at the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Mild to Moderate, K-12.
My graduate degree was obtained at the University of San Diego with a Master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy.
I am currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas and California.
