VTC Workshop Program

5G Millimeter-Wave Channel Measurement, Models, & System

Workshop Description
This workshop will discuss measurement and modeling techniques, challenges, and opportunities related to mmWave. Workshop papers are intended to represent a system-level analysis of mmWave capabilities, challenges, and opportunities. Potential topics may include descriptions of prototype sounders, testbeds, mmWave antenna design, and additional mmWave system-level research. This workshop would welcome papers on mmWave channel measurement, modeling, hardware, networks, signal processing channel modeling / measurements. The 5G Alliance has not yet encountered many industry workshops, conferences, and journals that discuss mmWave channel measurement, modeling, hardware, signal processing, and system-level communications together. This workshop seeks to address this gap.
