Morning Announcements for 9/24/2021

Attention all students: The emergency exits in the Purple Hallway are for emergencies only and are not to be used otherwise. Students must exit out the Silver Hallway doors when leaving that side of campus. Any student seen exiting out the emergency doors will be referred to Mr. Stevens and their parents will be notified. 



Spirit week continues next week in preparation for Homecoming!


Monday September 27th  is Pajama Day - Come in your school appropriate pajamas.

Tuesday September 28th  is Decades Day - Deck out in your favorite decade.

Wednesday September 29th is Picture Day - Come in your school uniform for yearbook and ID pictures.  Sweatshirts and hoodies are not to be worn for the yearbook picture.

Thursday September 30th is Character Day - Draw inspiration from your favorite book, movie, or Anime.

Friday October 1st is Twin Day - Find a friend or teacher and be mirror images.



Club Announcements:



Auditions for the Winter play will be held Monday, September 27th. All are welcome! Pick up scripts in room P5 with Mx. T.


Voting ends today at 3 pm.for your semi-finalist homecoming court.

 

Student Council will be selling Homecoming tickets today after 6th period in Room R3 or at the race fundraiser at the park. Make sure to grab a ticket before prices go up next week.  Next week it will cost $35, and it will be $40 at the door. There is also a chance at $5 off your total ticket price when you buy two! Make sure to get yourself a ticket soon! "



The American Red Cross car wash is this Saturday, from 11 am to 4 pm. Car washes are $5.  

 

 

***The International Scholars Academy is headed Down Under in 2023!  We will be enjoying the natural beauty of Australia, New Zealand, and the Cook Islands in the summer of 2023.  Attend the virtual informational meeting on Tuesday September 28th at 6:00pm.  Use the QR codes on the flyers around campus to RSVP and get the Zoom link***

 

Counselors Corner:

 

All 8th-11th grade students will take the official CollegeBoard PSAT test On Wednesday, October 13th .  10th and 11th grade students must report to the campus at 7:30am. 8th and 9th grade students will report to school at 8am on the testing day. Seniors who are planning to take the SAT also must be present on campus at 7:30am, all other seniors will report at 8:30am.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL’S NEXT HOME GAME WILL BE OUR WHITE OUT HOMECOMING VOLLEYBALL GAME ON TUESDAY 9/28. JV @5pm and Varsity @ 6pm.
