Music club with Mr. Sol will start next Monday at 2:50 pm

Attention singers!  GLEE CLUB is starting its second year and holding auditions on Tuesday August 21 and Thursday August 23 after 6th period on the stage!  Come join in on the musical fun. See Mrs. Devine in P12 for more details.

Attention High School students:

If you’re interested in debating government issues, meeting with your state elected representatives or simply like to see the sights of Washington D.C. and NYC, then the CloseUp program may be right for you.  CloseUp will be making a trip to Washington D.C. and New York City April 7th - 14th. For more details see Mr. Binstock in room B6. There will be a signup meeting for all high school students who are interested on Tuesday at 7:10 AM in Mr. Binstock's room B6.

Attention all High Schoolers: The Speech and Debate season  has begun. If you would like to be a part of the team please come to Mrs. Sloan's Room R6 next Tuesday, August 21st after 5th or 6th period for our first meeting. If can't attend the meeting please see Mrs. Sloan.

Attention all Middle Schoolers: Do you like to Act? Argue? Or discuss Politics? Well Speech and Debate may be the right club for you. Our first meeting will be after school on Thursday, August 23rd in room R6. The meeting will last about 30 minutes. If you can't make it to the meeting please see Mrs. Sloan in R6.

Attention all students. The National Honor Society's applications are now open. If you want to be a part of something special, with lots of leadership and volunteer opportunities, just swing by Mr. Carlone's room, P2, and pick up an application. They're due next Friday, August 24th. You must have a 3.6 GPA to apply

We don't make keys but we do help you open doors! Interested in a social and volunteer group? Come to Key Club's informational meeting on August 21st after 6th period. Better your school, better your world, all while bettering yourself!

News in Sports:

Attention all HS Fall Athletes: Please turn in your athletic packets with the completed physical to Coach Spitek or the Front Office if you have not already done so.

Attention 7th & 8th grade students, tryouts for the Middle School Flag Football team will be held today from 3:15-5:15 @ Sunridge Park, please bring a great deal of water.

Visit SeaQuest Interactive Aquarium on Sunday, Aug 26 anytime between 11:00 am -7:00 pm.

Come hand feed the sharks & stingrays, pet an iguana & snake, play with the capybaras & coatimundis, hold a sea star or bird, see a real live mermaid, and so much more!

50% of all admission proceeds will be donated back to CASLV Women's HS Volleyball.

High School Students,

6th-period High school STUDY HALL class will be available starting coming Monday.

This will be a regular class, attendance will be taken.

PTO News:

Kona Shave Ice will be at the park across the street after school on Tuesday, August 21st.  Remember, if you still have your Kowabunga cup you can use it for discounted refills. Kona Ice will donate a portion of the sales back to Coral Academy.

Our first Family Dining Event will be at In-N-Out Burger on Wednesday, August 22nd at 2 locations: S. Eastern & Serene and on Sunset at St. Marks from 4pm -8pm.  Show the flyer on your phone and In-N-Out Burger will donate a portion of the sale back to Coral Academy.
