SELS - Lansing‎ > ‎

The Thomas M. Cooley Sports and Entertainment Law Society's (SELS) primary purpose is to provide a forum whereby interested students and faculty members can discuss contemporary Sports and Entertainment Law issues.

Our mission is to:

  • Educate law students in the legal principles and transactional aspects of Sports and Entertainment Law.
  • Provide an environment where students can socialize and discuss relevant issues affecting the Sports and Entertainment industries and;
  • To expose students to information about career legal opportunities and provide networking opportunities in both the Sports and Entertainment industries.

The SELS provides students the opportunity to learn about these areas of law and to make vital connections that will help them while in law school and in the future.

Although most of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society events are announced on this web site, the best way to keep up to date with the current SELS ideas and events at Thomas M. Cooley is to join our email list. To be added, fill out the member application form and create your own password to login.
