Cooley Law School was founded in Lansing, in the heart of Michigan's government center. The Lansing campus is within minutes of the State Capitol Building, the Michigan Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, local courts, and the state's administrative offices.
The Lansing campus community works and studies in the heart of downtown Lansing, with great neighborhoods and a diverse population. Lansing's extracurricular activities offer a wide range of opportunities for students to join together for service, culture, and sports.
Cooley has been instrumental in the rejuvenation of downtown Lansing. The three Lansing buildings—the 220,000 sq. ft. classroom building, the 60,000 sq. ft. library, and the 40,000 sq. ft conference
center—have been completely renovated. The Lansing campus allows all students to learn in state-of-the-art wireless classrooms, to practice in court facilities, and to study in the spacious Brennan Library.
