Human Trafficking

On March 4th, 2016, Cooley Law School hosted “The Empower Event” organized by the Michigan Abolitionist Project (MAP).  Map is an organization focused on preventing and ending human trafficking. Human trafficking is the issue close to my heart. Thousands of Eastern  European children and teens are trafficked every year to the “West” and Muslim countries. In Turkey, a Muslim country, one can buy an Eastern European woman for $500. Let’s work together to end human trafficking in Eastern Europe.
