The ACLU Thomas M. Cooley student chapter shall be a representative of the larger national organization. The ACLU unpacks the concepts of liberty and freedom, determining all the rights and privileges entailed in them.
It stands guard and protects all individuals, regardless of their race, gender, religion or national origin, because it holds firm to the idea that all people should be afforded protection under the laws of the United States. In addition to this, the ACLU promotes social justice and raises awareness of events throughout the country, as well as advocating for fair and just legislation.
