Mrs. Manly

Welcome to PASS Math and Science!
I am originally from Southern California and love the beach and sunsets.  I attended both the University of California, San Diego and Irvine where I majored in mathematics and Psychology and Social Behavior.  Texas has become our home for the past 17 years and this is my 12th year teaching at Vogel.  My hobbies include exercising and knitting, but spending time with my husband is always at the top of my list.  We enjoy hiking in the forest, watching movies and fellow-shipping with friends. We will celebrate our 25th anniversary this year!

My oldest son, Alec, and his wife, Kelsie, both served in the U.S. Navy.  They currently live in Massachusetts and we are grandparents to Wyatt, 18 months, and Olivia who was born August 7th.

My youngest son, Blake, is a junior at LeTourneau University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Most days you can find Blake at the gym running or lifting weights. He also has a passion for Spartan Races.

I love dogs and we have a 5 year old standard poodle, Jagger.  He enjoys car rides, walks in the forest, the beach, and going out to breakfast Saturday mornings.  His favorite food is scrambled eggs.

All of my family lives in California.  Below is a picture of one of my visits with my mom, sister and niece.

I love teaching math and science!  My desire is to encourage life long learners,
build confidence and have fun along the way!
Dream big and then work to make those dreams come true!
