Last month, students at BGS and MBS participated in the Hour of Code. You may be wondering what is the Hour of Code all about! Well, it was an hour of learning how to understand and writing code or computer programing. Here is a quick video to learn more about it...

So how did we participate? Our students participated in an activity when we used our iPads to solve Angry Birds coding puzzles. There were 20 puzzles and each puzzle became more difficult. The students learned how to program the Angry Bird to move forward and turn. They also learned how to repeat steps with a different type of code. To try it on your own, click here to go to the website.
