I am an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Campina Grande, PB, Brazil, working in the academia since 1995.

I currently teach Artificial Intelligence and Computational Perception classes for the Computer Science Bachelor degree program of my University.

I also supervise PhD and MSc students, mostly in the areas of Machine Learning and Computer Vision.

Besides that, since 2005 I have been intensively involved in collaborative research, development and innovation projects with the Industry.
