Hello, I am Mrs. Williamson. I began teaching in 1999. I have taught many different levels of students ranging from Pre-K to High School, which is where I have spent the last 11 years of my career, and I enjoy it.

I believe that each student can and will learn in the appropriate environment. I strive to make sure that each student learns life lessons along his/her academic path. I want each student to know that he/she is loved as they enter and leave my classroom.

I grew up in Nakina and now reside in Whiteville. I am married and have two wonderful grown children. I also love animals and nature. I have three cats, a Min-Pin, and a Chocolate Lab. I love to fish, to go boating on the lake preferably, and to visit the mountains. I absolutely hate spiders, and yes, I have true arachnophobia!

I am highly qualified and certified for grades 6-12 Language Arts and English. I graduated from Pembroke State University (now UNC-Pembroke) with a Bachelor's Degree in English Education. I earned my Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership from the University of Phoenix.

I am the ECHS Men's and Ladies Tennis and Bowling Coach. I enjoy these activities because it gives me the opportunity to see the students in a different aspect of education, and in turn, they get to know me a little better.
