Columbia County Airport

Columbia County Airport is a publicly owned, public-use, transport-category facility. It serves the aviation needs of Columbia County and the Upper Hudson Region of New York. The County of Columbia owns the airport and its operation is the responsibility of the Department of Public Works. In order to determine the potential of the airport and identify specific opportunities for improving airport facilities, the County applied for and received a planning grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under the Airport Improvement Program (AIP #3-36-0042-15-98) of the Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982.
