A Little About Me ~ My name is Lisa Riese and I have been in education for twenty years. I am a graduate of The University of Northern Iowa. I have a Masters in Special Education from Graceland University and recently, I finished my second Masters in School Library Studies at the University of Northern Iowa. Throughout my teaching career I have had the unique opportunity to teach many things: kindergarten, 6-8 multiage, seventh grade reading and language arts, 7-8 special education, elementary science, social studies, and even art! All of these different experiences have given me a great background to work in the library! My husband Doug and I live on a farm south of Zearing and we have three daughters. Caitlyn is a sophomore at Gustavus University in Minnesota, Samantha is a freshman at Wartburg College, and Lauren is a freshman at Colo-Nesco. They are involved in many sports and activities keeping us very busy as a family. I am very excited to be in the library working with students and teachers in both buildings. There are many new things going on with resources and learning and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities our students have at their fingertips! | What is the librarian reading? ~ Early Childhood/Elementary- ![]() Young Adult- ![]() For Fun- ![]() Listening to - ![]() |
