The Collinsville Public Schools offer two federal programs for Native American Students. Title VII and Johnson O'Malley (JOM) Indian Education Programs. For the Title VII Program we need a 506 Form on file and a parent or grandparent with Indian Ancestry and a copy of their CDIB Card, IHS Number, Tribal Clinic Number or roll number. JOM Indian Ed. Program requires a Tribal CDIB or Membership Card.

The Title VII Program offers tutoring in grades PK-12. Tutoring for grades 1st-5th are offered during school hours. Grades 6-12 tutoring is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school 2:35-3:35 at the Indian Ed. Building, 310 S. 14th St. Students need to bring their homework and book(s) if any for any subject they need help in.

The JOM Program offers basic school supplies PK-12 at the beginning of school and throughout the year as needed. We also reimburse for one ACT/SAT Test per school year for Sophmore, Juniors and Seniors. Students need to submit a copy of the check or online receipt used to pay for the test and a copy of the admission ticket signed and an address to mail the check to. JOM also pays for Senior cap, gown and one tassel. The JOM pays for membership fees up to $10 (i.e. Okla. Indian Student Honor Society, Cherokee Youth Councils, etc.)

Cherokee Language Classes for JOM students in grades 6-12 will be held in preparation for the Cherokee Language Bowl. Starting September 14, 2015 Cherokee Language classes are Monday and Wednesday from 2:35 - 3:35pm at the Indian Ed. Building.


Cherokee Challenge Bowl Classes for JOM students will be held immediately after the Cherokee Language Bowl same time and place as the Language classes.
