In this preview, we will provide you with the Version 9.6 Sneak Peek of our Customer & Patient Notification tools that will allow you to configure your communication settings and customize patient communications.

Please keep this in mind when comparing screen shots to the tabs and icons you have available in your CollaborateMD application. Some items or views are subject to change before release dates.

CUSTOMER & PATIENT NOTIFICATIONS


CollaborateMD understands every successful business is dependent on strong communications. With this new Version 9.6 we have created several new communication tools for your CollaborateMD account, as well as new custom communications for your patients.

    • Choose what type of communications your patients receive for New Balance and Payment Confirmations and customize Text and / or Email Message templates.

  • NOTE: You must have the Integrated Payment Processing feature and enable the Payment Portal to use this feature. The Integrated Payment Processing feature is a fee-for-service, if not included with your plan. In addition, a $0.05 text messaging fee will apply for Patient Notifications via text. 1.    Admin/Auth Rep Profile Communication Settings Tab – this video showcases the new Communications Settings tab that can be found by visiting System > User Profile > Retrieve Profile > Communications Settings tab for Admins and Auth Reps Only:

·        Choose what type of communications you want to receive from CollaborateMD

·        Choose how you want to receive certain communications from CollaborateMD

·        Choose when you want to receive certain communications from CollaborateMD

Note: Some communications types have limitations on opting out, how you receive them, and when you can opt to have them sent.

2.    User Profile Communication Settings Tab– this screenshot shows the new Communications Settings tab that can be found by visiting System > User Profile > Retrieve Profile > Communications Settings for Users Only.

3.    How to Setup Patient Notifications for the Payment Portal – this video snippet will show you how to enable and customize New Balance and Payment Confirmations to your patients. Patients can setup their information inside the Payment Portal, once logged in.
    • Data Tags:  When creating messages to patients, you now have the ability to insert Data Tags with a Right-click. Data tags will allow you to personalize your message by auto-filling data from the patient’s record when sent.

      • Text Message Data Tags  - Users will have the option to add five (5) data tags for text messages.

      • Email Message Data Tags - Users will have the option to add seven (7) data tags for e-mails.

        1. For example: “The patient balance is: <Patient Balance>” will result in the sentence “The patient balance is: $5.35”.

4.   See What Patients See in the Payment Portal these three (3) images provide you with the Patient's perspective of updates made to the patient Payment Portal that will require them to change their communication settings and opt-in to SMS messages.
