To Whom It May Concern:

On Saturday, April 11th, 2015 Colgate University’s Habitat for Humanity chapter will be organizing a “Habitat for Humanity HomeRun.” This event is a half-marathon and 5K Run/Walk that will be taking place in the Village Green of Hamilton. Registration begins at 9 a.m., the half-marathon begins at 9:30 a.m., and the 5k begins at 10:30 a.m. This is Colgate’s tenth annual HomeRun event and all proceeds will benefit the Madison County Habitat for Humanity affiliate.

Habitat for Humanity is an international non-profit group that works to provide safe, affordable housing to families in need. Colgate has provided volunteers for both local and out-of-state builds amounting to over 300 hours of service this academic year. In addition, the money raised at the HomeRun event will support the Veteran’s build in Cazenovia.

We would really appreciate your attendance and/or sponsorship of our event.  The Habitat for Humanity HomeRun is an important event and any material donations or financial contributions would be greatly appreciated.  T-shirts will be distributed at the event and any sponsor who is able to give $50 or more will get their company name on the back of the shirt.  If interested in sponsoring our event, please fill out the attached information form.

If you have any questions, please contact us at 315-228-6877. We sincerely appreciate your help and generosity!
