Item Records to Excel

Copying the summary view of item records and pasting into an Excel spreadsheet allows you to sort by multiple fields or delete un-needed fields. An alternative is to create a list of item records attached to a bib record, then export the file.

Open bib record in Millennium in summary view
  • Highlight desired records
  • Copy

Open Excel
  • Highlight all cells in the worksheet
  • Home tab
    • Cells
    • Format
      • Format cells
      • Category Text
      • OK button
  • Home tab
    • Clipboard (or right click on the cell A1)
      • Paste special
  • Paste as Text
If you do not do format the cells or use paste special, the barcodes are assumed to be a very large number and are expressed in scientific E notation (exponential notation without superscripts).
