Includes job descriptions, daily to-dos', and certain do's and don't's that everyone working as a consultant should know.

Fourth edition. A compilation of student consultant-written papers, essays, journals and poems on the various frustrations/obstacles/glees/follies we encounter during our work in the Writing Center. Completely student-written, edited, and produced, Beans is our textbook for our staff training course, Topics in Composition.

All Writing Consultants attend an annual weekend-long retreat during the fall so they can share ideas, form bonds and converse as an entire staff.
