About Coe College

Dating back to 1851, Coe College is a private and nationally recognized four-year liberal arts institution. Coe College is located in Iowa's second-largest city, Cedar Rapids. Nearly 1,400 students are currently enrolled at Coe.

Coe is one of the best liberal arts colleges in the United States and it has been recognized by many. Coe was featured in The Princeton Review's "379 Best Colleges" and "Peterson's Guide to Selective Colleges". Additionally, Barron's "300 Best Buys in College Education" ranks Coe as "Very Competitive". Coe has been recognized many other national publications. 

Coe offers more than 40 different majors including Accounting, Neuroscience, Nursing, Pre-Professional Programs, and many more. Coe students are also allowed to create their own major with the help of faculty members. 

Coe College Athletic teams participate as a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division III. The teams are a member of the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC). Some of the men's sports include basketball, cross country, football, and wrestling. Some of the women's sports include basketball, golf, soccer, and softball.
