CHS 2017 Grad Awarded National Merit Scholarship

Congratulations to Corey Bean, who was recently named a National Merit Scholar.  He received $1,000 in scholarship money which he will put to use at Messiah College this fall.  For more information on this incredible honor, please click here to access this week's The Ephrata Review article.

CHS Choralist Receives National Honor

Congratulations to Ashlyn Frederick, CHS senior, who has been accepted into the All-National Ensembles Mixed Choir.  This is the highest possible achievement for a high school choralist! Ashlyn will join other students from across the country for the concert event to be held in November in Walt Disney World.

Thank you to Mr. Carl Sheaffer who recently celebrated his 80th birthday by asking family and friends to donate supplies for Cocalico students in lieu of birthday gifts! Your kindness and compassion for your community are so very appreciated!  Happy Birthday!

On Wednesday, May 31, over $250,000 in scholarships and monetary prizes were awarded to deserving members of the Class of 2017! Congratulations to all seniors! Best of luck in all future endeavors!

Cocalico Sports' Physicals - Get Yours at CHS!

The Cocalico Athletic Department has partnered with team physician, Dr. Zachary Geidel from Wellspan Family & Sports Medicine, and CPRS Physical Therapy to host PIAA physical exams. The physicals will be performed on Tuesday, June 6 and Thursday, June 8 from 5:00-8:00 pm in the CHS gymnasium.  Any student entering grades 7-12 for the 2017-18 school year and planning on playing a Fall, Winter, and/or Spring sport is eligible to schedule an appointment!  Call 336-1450 for more information and to schedule an appointment.

Don't delay!  Spots are filling up quickly!

State Medal Winner

Congratulations to Cocalico High School senior, Demetrius Whitsett! His outstanding performance in the long jump at the PIAA State Meet this past weekend earned him the 4th place medal! What an awesome ending to this fine athlete's career as a CHS eagle!
