FRIENDSHIP

In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy
because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Circle of Caring
"The way God designed our bodies is a model for understanding our lives together as a church: every part dependent on every other part.....If one part hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance." - 1 Cor. 12:24-26

This translation of 1 Corinthians reminds us of our commitment to care for one another. The Circle of Caring team was created to meet the needs of those in our church and beyond, through love and caring. By providing meals to the ailing, visiting a shut-in, sending greeting cards, praying for the sick, or helping in any way, we are called to care for each other. COAH 10 Year Celebration!

We are partners - with God and with one another - growing in our participation in the work of Christ. We do that realizing that all relationships are spiritual - all God-given and purposed. With one another we learn and live out the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). We do this in a variety of ways and venues, formal and informal, including these listed below:

Vacation Bible School

We had another great VBS adventure with "BLAST OFF!" this past summer (2014). We launched kids and adults on a mission of God's love through music, Bible lessons, games, projects with a purpose and of course - sharing a meal with one another. See the slide show near the top of this page for the highlights!

2013
We enjoyed our second annual VBS event in  2013. Avalanche Ranch: a wild ride through God's word!  Children and adults gathered each afternoon/evening to eat, sing, play, do arts & crafts and dig into the Bible.

Missionaries we know
We are so blessed to be in partnership with missionaries near and far. Some we can share about, others, out of respect for their safety we cannot. Some have been able to visit us when on furlough. Some we have been able to supported financially (such as from our lemonade stand funds). We pray for all of them weekly in our Monday Morning Prayer time. We love them all!

Below are some of our friends who serve so selflessly so others will know Jesus:

Dudong and Miralen Calungsod
Philippines

Jean Jean & Kristie Mompremier
Haiti

Evarist & Rose
Togo

Roger Hatch - Jonathan's House orphanages
Sierra Leone & CAR
