Gayle Dow is a Associate Professor and Director of the Creativity Research Lab in the Department of Psychology at Christopher Newport University. She has also taught courses at Indiana University, Bloomington and Carnegie Melon University.  She conducts research on creativity and has published in Creativity Research Journal, Journal of Educational Psychology, and The Educational Psychologist.

She is also the faculty advisor for CNU's Psi Chi - the international Honor Society in Psychology.
