West Pennant - Heffalump

1. Heffalump V5
Begin on jug, climb arete on edges and crimps, pop to lip and rockover the topout on slopers not quite as good as you'd like. Delightful.

2. Double Crossed V9
Start as for Heffalump, but pull through edges and sidepulls making tenuous and moves up and left. Morpho. Multiple betas exist. (FA Nick Sagar 2004)

3. Look to Windward SDS V12
Very technical compression moves on impossibly blank bulge to crux bump to good edge and dynamic finish. Morpho. (FA Ben Smith 2013)

4. Insufficient Funds V4
Tricky high thin slab. Might be sand-bagged. (FA Adam Benjamin 2012)

5. Phase III V11
Tenuous climbing on crimps and slopers up the mini dihedral. Excellent. (FA Nick Sagar 2006)

6. Phase VIII SDS V11
Sit start variation on Phase III. Doesn't add much in terms of difficulty or enjoyment. (FA Nick Sagar 2006)

7. Hit and Run V11
Start as for Phase III and link into Access Denied (FA G. Losier 2006)

8. Access Denied V9 SDS
Hard, tension moves, heavy hands on sharp crimpers. Very technical with a close to a dozen moves on an 8 foot problem. Good things come in small packages. (FA Nick Sagar 2004)

9. Whose Counting SDS V12
Impressive link of Access Denied into Phase III (FA Ben Smith 2017)

10. Deeper Understanding V9

Start at Access Denied and grind your way left across blank slopey lip until you gain access to the obvious jug about 8 feet left. (FA Nick Sagar 2006)

Backside of Boulder

11. Crack V0
Not the best destination for novice climbers...
