My name is Kortney Chinn, I have been teaching at Hough for 6 years, teaching for 9 years overall. I teach AP Environmental Science and AP Research. I came down here from Long Island, New York in 2008 where I attended Catawba College. I majored in Environmental Science and played Field Hockey and Lacrosse.

I am involved with lacrosse programs in the community and I also am a leader of the Sources of Strength program. A program designed to help students learn skills to cope with stress and anxiety by tapping into what some of their natural strengths are. We work with students to create a positive culture at Hough and I am very proud of it!
