Dr. Paras Nath Singh is a professor of CSE/ISE in CMRIT, Bangalore. Dr. Singh is Ph.D(IT) from BRABU, Muzaffarpur (A premier Govt. University) having extensive experience of 39 years (19 years of industry+research & 20 years of teaching with admin posts as Head of the departments(CSE/IT/MCA), dean, vice-principal, principal & director of different engineering colleges of Andhra, Odisha & MP).
Dr. Singh is Past-President of ICT (including CS) section of India Science Congress 2020-21 (Extended to 2022-23).
International Award : “Most Fabulous Professor” by World HRD Cogress 2020.
National Award: 1. Best Professor of Computer Science & Engineering of India by DNA & Stars of the Industry Group 2019
2. Best Professor of Computer Science & Engineering of India by GOLDEN AIM Awards in 2020, Delhi
3. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Excellence award of Education - 2020 by the hon'ble chairman of the AICTE
Dr. Singh is Life Member of CSI ( 00113331), ISTE( LM44246) & ISCA(L13824) and senior member of IEEE (93926293)
Project completed in the (2019-20)as PI/CI: Data Science Lab under MDROB Scheme of AICTE with sanctioned Grant of Rs.1645000 and FDP for Big-data Analytics & Python Programming of Rs. 315000
Dr. Singh has 4 patents, Published 4 books (by national publications), 2 book chapters in International Publications and 47 papers in International/National Journal/Conferences.
Dr. Paras Nath Singh has been a resource person for different assignments of KEA, Govt. of Karnataka, Govt of Odisha.
Dr. Singh has conducted 10 workshops, seminars, training as an expert/resource person in national and international autonomous institutions and Indian universities (like DBATU, Maharastra, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Manipal University, UDUPY) in the last 3 years and attended more than 60 conferences/seminars/webinars and won 20 National Quizzes.
Dr. Singh became the topper of the University of California, Santacruz, in MOOC course C++ for C Programmers offered by Coursera sponsored by CMRIT.
Dr. Singh is Invited Speaker of the Indian Science Congress from 2009 to 2020, a Member of ICT(Including CS) section in 2010 and 2011 (and now unanimously the elected president of ICT-CS section of the Indian Science Congress 2021.
Dr. Singh is serving as an Expert Member of BOS of CMRU and question setter/moderator of VTU, CMRU and other universities and autonomous institutions of India
Dr. Singh is the reviewer of International Journals of IEEE and Springer Nature
