  Research Highlights

  Current:  Studies on the potential of metal oxides as thin films and nanocrystals in resistive switching and spintronic applications; 
                 I also explore the design of patterned layered structures and nanocrystal assembly for these studies. Parallely, studies are 
                 pursued on metal oxide nanocomposites for photovoltaic and photocatalytic applications. Recently, I have also gained interest 
                 in the development of electrochemical biosensors for pollutant detection in water and environmental remediation.

  Previously:    Structure-property correlation and electronic phase transition studies in perovskite oxide films, 
                     Resistive switching structures using mixed ionic-electronic conductors, 
                     Spintronic investigation on magnetic oxide nanocrystal superlattices and organic semiconductors.
