 Summary Profile

                                   Dr.A.Suvitha completed her Ph.D from Periyar Maniammai University, Thanjur, India. She has 11 years of teaching and 13 years of research experience. She has been selected for the WOS A project from DST, Young Research Scientist, NIT, Trichy and Received Gold Medal. She received the Best Researcher Award in Tagore College, Pondicherry. She has been selected for the UGC’s Post-Doctoral Fellowship for Women Candidates (2017-18). She has presented numerous papers (Oral and Poster) in national and international conferences. She has submitted projects under the Early Career Research Award (SERB), VGST and Funding Industry Relevant R& D Scheme.

She has reviewed several papers in International Journals and has published several peer-reviewed papers in peer-reviewed International Journals. Recently she received the Top 5% in Computer Aided Drug Design in the NPTEL Examination and completed 4 MOOC courses related to the research field. She recently published two papers, the International Symposium on Modeling of Crystal Growth Processes and Devices (MCGPD-2019) held at the SSN Research Center, Chennai on 26-28th February 2019 and she received the same for "BEST PAPER AWARD". She has been nominated National Prize for Research in Chemical Spectroscopy and Molecular Structure, CNR Rao Education Foundation and Jawaharlal Nehru Center for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore. Recently she has submitted 2 research paper in reputed journal, which is the publication of the under process. She has been selected (score: 85%) to attend a free online course from the BioTecNika Schrodinger Joint Workshop, where the Schrodinger team has selected 70% of the candidates who have qualified the test and are eligible to attend the workshop.

She has published more than 10 national and international research papers in reputed journals in Elsevier with high impact factor. She has scored more than 140 citations, h-index 6 and i10-index 3 in Google scholar and Research gate. Her current research interests include Spectroscopy, Bio molecular spectroscopy, Quantum Computational studies and Computational methods for molecular assignments. At present she is guiding 3 Ph.D. research scholars under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
