Jeff Nichols: Drawing and Painting

Art 1, Art 2, Art 3, and Advanced Two-Dimensional Art (Art 4)

  I was born and raised in Fresno. My interest in Art started in elementary school. I took Art classes throughout junior high and high school. I initially went to the University of Oregon, where I was a member of their swim team. I transferred back to Fresno State and graduated as an Art Major. After several years, I went back and received my Masters in Art. I exhibited in a gallery for a couple of years before deciding to get my Single Subject Credential. I started my career teaching Art for Clovis Unified in 1996. My main passions and interests in life are my family, art, and music.

The main things that I have learned as a teacher are:

·       There is no shortage of talent.

·       Students are capable of achieving much more than they, or others, think they can.

·       The following are my recommended formula for success:
