Attendance Matters!

  • Attendance matters for doing well in school and life.
  • Students can suffer academically if they miss 10 percent of school days or about 18 days per year.
  • Absences can add up before you know it.
  • Both excused and unexcused absences represent lost time in the classroom and lost opportunity to learn.
  • Please schedule extended trips over allotted vacation.

Students in grades 7-12 shall lose credit for any class in which they exceed, five (5) total LCA absences in a trimester class. District 91 Attendance Policy
