Welcome to English 10: World Literature!

In English 10, we have some exciting opportunities to explore texts that center around cultures different than our own. In addition to exploring these new cultures, we will also be exploring how the context and organization of literature can impact a novel and how we view that novel. Students will have the opportunity to read several pieces of classic literature, as well as contemporary literature meant to address issues of race, culture, morals, and identity. I look forward to diving into these challenging issues and learning what it means to developing a wider world view.
