About The Teacher
I began my teaching career in Southington, CT. I taught in the special education department at Southington High School for sixteen years. I helped to pioneer a program for students with severe emotional disturbance (SED) called EASE (Emotional, Academic, Social Education).
After moving to the shoreline area I found the need to work closer to my family and accepted a job at Mount Saint John School in Deep River, CT. Mount Saint John was a private residential facility for court adjudicated boys ages 11-17. I spent several years at MSJ, but longed to get back into public education.

I became a special education teacher at The Morgan School in 2005.  I am currently working in the English department as a co-teacher in Ms. Fairbanks Sophomore English classes, teaching a Work World class and teaching learning strategies to our special education students.

I enjoy working with the wonderful staff at Morgan and with the members of the Clinton community at large.  I look forward to the new school year!
