About The Teacher
I began my teaching career in Southington, CT. I taught in the special education department at Southington High School for sixteen years. I helped to pioneer a program for students with severe emotional disturbance (SED) called EASE (Emotional, Academic, Social Education).
After moving to the shoreline area I found the need to work closer to my family and accepted a job at Mount Saint John School in Deep River, CT. Mount Saint John was a private residential facility for court adjudicated boys ages 11-17. I spent several years at MSJ, but longed to get back into public education.
The 2016-17 school year will be my twelfth as a special education teacher at the Morgan School. I am currently a co-teacher in Freshman and Sophomore English classes, and will be providing learning strategies to students through structured study halls.
