About The Teacher
I began my teaching career in Southington, CT. I taught in the special education department at Southington High School for sixteen years. I helped to pioneer a program for students with severe emotional disturbance (SED) called EASE (Emotional, Academic, Social Education).
After moving to the shoreline area I found the need to work closer to my family and accepted a job at Mount Saint John School in Deep River, CT. Mount Saint John is a private residential facility for court adjudicated boys ages 11-17. After four years at MSJ, I made the decision to move back into public education.

The 2015-16 school year will be my eleventh at the Morgan School.  I feel very lucky
to have two superstar para-educators by my side in the Student Support Center.
Mrs. Sue Cockley and Mrs. Tracy McDonnell. Together we work hard to advocate for
our students and help them to make the positive changes needed for success.

I look forward to re-connecting with students from last year and to meeting all of the new
students who become a part of the Student Support Center this year!
Let's work together to make this year great!
