Whats Happening at TPA

  • Haiti Mission Trip Bryan Evans, one of our Behavior Management Liaisons, recently traveled to Haiti for an International Missions Trip during the week of April 7th. Mr. Evans traveled with a team of 15 which included members from Zion Baptist (Shelby), First Baptist Kings Mountain, First Baptist Salisbury, and Evans represented Mt. Calvary Baptist (Shelby). The 15 members consisted of a Construction team, Medical team, Dental team, Eye Care team, and Mrs. Evelyn Brice from Bethware Elementary a native of Haiti and wife of Rev. Marc Brice the host Pastor. Mr. Evans worked with the construction team at four different sites, while the medical, dental, and Eye Care teams served well over a hundred people per day Monday through Friday. Evans stated, "This ...

  • 3 Hour delay - Wed. Jan 23 Due to the high probability of freezing rain as forecasted by the National Weather Service for our area, Cleveland County Schools will operate on a three-hour delay for students and a two-hour delay for staff on Wednesday, January 23rd.  All schools will begin the day exactly three hours later than the regular start time.  Morning bus pickup times will also occur three hours later than normal. Kidz Around before-school care will also delay three hours.

  • Dec 13 Students 3-hour delay Good evening,Due to the forecast of below freezing temperatures and the likelihood of black ice from the melting of lingering snow, Cleveland County Schools will operate on a three-hour delay for students and a two-hour delay for staff on Thursday, December 13th.  All schools will begin the day exactly three hours later than the regular start time.  Morning bus pickup times will also occur three hours later than normal.
