My name is Terri Beam and I'm the Social Worker for Crest High School.

About Me:
I have been employed with Cleveland County Schools since 2006.  I began working as the Social Worker for Crest High School in 2013.
I am married to Chad L. Beam who is also employed by Cleveland County Schools as an English Teacher!! I have two children who I am very proud of...Kori and Kobe!! When I am not at work I love to play sports (basketball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, etc), watch Family Feud, People's Court and Judge Mathis!! Yes I love Drama!!!
My passion is working with students....I feel accomplished when I am able to help students unleash their untapped potential and lead them towards being the best they can be in every arena of their lives no matter what barriers they may face!!

Social Work:
As the School Social Worker my job is to bridge the gap between home and school and to try to eliminate barriers that may be preventing students from being successful at school.  Such barriers may include attendance, housing, clothing, medical issues, mental health, food, utility concerns.  I will try to link families with agencies who can help eliminate the barriers over a period of time.
