Crest FFA Places Third in State Poultry Evaluation

Members from the Crest FFA Chapter placed third in the State FFA Poultry Evaluation Career Development Event on April 1st, 2015.

Seventy-seven teams from across North Carolina competed in the event. Students were tested on their knowledge of embryology and health management, placed market broilers, laying hens and meat products. In addition, contestants graded ready to cook carcasses, eggs for interior and exterior quality and were quizzed on parts identification.
