Kyle Cashwell, a native of Sampson County, North Carolina, visited with Crest FFA members on Thursday January 21st for a discussion on agriculture safety. The Cleveland County Farm Bureau organized the meeting in an effort to help teach young people more about safety in the agriculture setting. According to the National Safety Council, agriculture is the most hazardous occupation in the country. The Cleveland County Farm Bureau recognizes the importance of helping young people involved in the field of agriculture understand more about those dangers. Kyle suffered a severe farm accident in 2014 and has recovered with a mission to help others learn about and prevent agriculture accidents.
