Our annual can food drive was a huge success. Our goal was 2500 cans to be delivered to local food pantries, but we exceeded our goal....we got 3438 cans! "Wow way to go Dragons! Our students and staff never cease to amaze me, they meet every challenge with their desire to help others, said sponsor and CMS counselor, Mrs. Joanna Runyon."I'm glad we got to collect cans. It helps families that can't buy their own food," said 6th grader Tao Young.

"I see homeless people sometimes at Wal Mart. When we give to local pantries, these people can get food there," said fellow 6th grader Gaige Lail.

"It's important to feed young children. They can't buy their own food and it makes me feel good to be able to help others," said 6th grader Zac Owens.

Congratulations to these classes: Mr. Patterson, Mrs. Ogren, Mrs. Black, Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Yelton and Mr. Ledbetter! These were top classes in each grade!
