CMS Fluid Power Challenge Winners!

CMS Fluid Power Team took home the 1st Place Overall Trophy at Tuesday's Fluid Power Challenge at the Cleveland County District Office beating out ten other district teams. Representing Crest were 8th graders, Nathan Goins, Landon Sanders and Brayden Blaylock. The team also won the first place Team Challenge. Their task was to build a machine using supplied materials. They had to work as a team to build a machine that would move a block around a spectrum using only fluid power and finish within three hours. "They have practiced for this challenge all year. They used tools like files, super glue, and drills to make their machine and I'm very proud of them, said Mr. Jay Washburn, CMS teacher and Fluid Power Team Coach.
