Charlton Chase


The Charlton Chase is widely considered as the premier night navigation team exercise in the South East of England.

Teams of four young people (aged 15 to 21) undertake to complete a course through the Charlton Forest requiring navigational skills and team work if they are to succeed.

The 2016 event is scheduled to run over the night of Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st January, teams will be given an entry time between 17:30-18:00 on the Saturday and should be finished by 08:00 on the Sunday morning.

 The Charlton Chase is a night navigation competition run at the end of January each year. The challenging event sees the teams tackle tough terrain in the dark whilst completing tasks along the way. The event is a real challenge of teamwork, motivation and a test of night navigation skills.

The teams have prepared well do head out for this event raring to go. 

The teams consist of Alex Cornwell, Hugh Paterson, Alex Selwood-Taylor, Grace Gurr, Jaz Clark, Hannah Elkeir, Rory York, Will Taylor, Ryan Garvey, Lewis Newman,  Katie Isaac and Molly Gransden. 

They will be up against 76 teams from across the South.
