The Church of Jesus Christ does not exist only for itself. The church is used by God to help serve others. At Clarence Presbyterian Church we have an increasing commitment to hands-on mission. Our most central mission is the Clarence Food Pantry that is housed in our building. We give money, food, Christmas Angel gifts, Fruit Baskets twice a year, and time to make this core ministry successful.

On the first Sunday in May we come together as a congregation to do various mission centered activities. In past years this has included projects off site as well as activities in our building.

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry brings a sign of God’s healing, peace, and hope to those who are hurting. We hand deliver prayer shawls to members in the congregation and to ECMC and beyond. Our colorful lap robes are offered to homeless children and their mothers at Cornerstone Manor.

Our congregation gives money and time to many other local missions such as Habitat for Humanity, The Birthday Squad, Hearts and Hands, and the Family Justice Center.

Our Youth go on a mission trip for a week each summer. We believe that we both demonstrate our faith and grow in our faith through serving others. Click below to see other mission projects we support:
