MHSAA ATHLETIC ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY
The minimum academic standard for athletic eligibility is "66 percent of credit load potential for a full-time student." What that means to Clarkston Athletes is that they need to receive credit in 4 out of their 6 classes. If they do not, they are ineligible for sports for the next trimester.
Please help the Athletic Office make sure all our athletes and potential athletes are aware of this requirement.

What is the Michigan High School Athletic Association (M.H.S.A.A.)?
|
The MHSAA is a private, not-for-profit corporation of voluntary membership by over 1,500 public and private senior high schools and junior high/middle schools which exists to develop common rules for athletic eligibility and competition. No government funds or tax dollars support the MHSAA, which was the first such association nationally to not accept membership dues or tournament entry fees from schools. Member schools which enforce these rules are permitted to participate in MHSAA tournaments, which attract approximately 1.6 million spectators each year.
Clarkston High School is a member of the MHSAA. As an individual, you may wish to visit the MHSAA website at www.mhsaa.com. Interesting and helpful information you will find includes a high school directory, information on post-season tournament sites, tournament results, maps to other area schools, calendars for the current and upcoming year for all three seasons, sport records, and general information about the MHSAA.
