Course Objectives:

US I:
This course is designed to cover important events that have shaped the United States from Pre-European Colonization to 1865.  The students will be viewing and interpreting periods in United States History from various perspectives, including historical, geographical, political, economic, and cultural.  Together, these perspectives can help students understand how the past has led to our present and to appreciate their role in shaping our future.

Civics and Economics:
Civics-Students will learn about the organization and function of the government. They will also learn about their role in a democratic society. 
Economics- This course will provide a greater understanding of economics ranging from the viewpoint of the individual consumer or small business owner to the global economy.
