Mary Guggenberger was honored by the College of St
Mary was awarded the Alumni
Association’s Distinguished Alumni Award on Saturday, October 5, 2013.
Mary did not begin her career in education. Her experience was in business management,
accounting and community relations. She
worked several years in the ski industry.
After taking some time off to raise her children, Mary decided to return
to school and pursue her degree in education.
She graduated from the College of St. Joseph in 2003, receiving a Masters
Degree in Education.
Mary began her teaching career at Christ the King School in 2003. She set herself apart by offering something
unique to the school. She taught
Language Arts to grades 5 through 8 for nine years and then was appointed
principal of Christ the King School in
Estill, Mrs. Gombosi, and Mrs. Barbagallo taped a show at PEGTV to
celebrate student learning at CKS. The topics of the show are the
Science Fair, NASA Art Projects, and the Chaffee Art Exhibit. Below is a

Easter Bunny BreakfastWe are still in need of donations of candy to stuff into plastic eggs for the egg hunt this Saturday, April 5th. If you are able to donate a bag or two of candy, please send it in to the CKS office in a bag marked “egg hunt”. Thank you in advance for your support of this event! Proceeds are earmarked to support the core curriculum program at CKS.
