COVID-19


Care In Your Home Ltd are working hard to support our clients in the community during the Covid-19 crisis.

We are following the advice being given to us by NHS England, the UKHCA, and other organisations.
Carers are being instructed to wash their hands regularly, and to use the recommended PPE when visiting clients.
Clients and families are requested to PLEASE inform us if they or their loved ones are diagnosed with the virus, so that carers can take the proper precautions when visiting.
There is likely to be disruption to the service at times, and it may not always be possible to adhere to normal call times. We will TRY to keep you informed of change to rosters, but it may not always be possible. 

Our office communications are internet based, and very flexible. Our office number remains unchanged - 01344-567675 - This diverts to out-of-hours staff, and enables us to work from home if it should become necessary.

Personal Protective Equipment
We currently have sufficient stocks of most PPE for the foreseeable future.

BUT.............
Facemasks are at a premium, and following advice from NHS England, they should ONLY be used where a client is displaying the recognised symptoms of Covid-19, or has been formally diagnosed positive. As per the current guidelines, they are not to be used as a preventative measure.

Information is changing on a regular basis, and will be updated as and when new information is forthcoming.
