American Dream Grant

The Northwest Missouri State University Dream Grant is a 4-year award for Pell-eligible students that cover a student’s tuition and standard fees, primary textbooks and the use of a laptop. To qualify for the American Dream Grant, a student must be eligible for the federal Pell grant. Missouri students must have scored at least an 18 on the ACT and earned at least a 2.5 high school grade-point average. Out-of-state students must meet eligibility requirements for Northwest’s Bearcat Advantage scholarship to qualify for the American Dream Grant. Show-Me Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society

Chapter Scholarships
The Show-Me Chapter offers a $2000 scholarship for a high school senior, or undergraduate, planning to major in conservation or a natural resources-related field.  This is an essay contest.  Information can be found at
http://www.moswcs.org/scholarship/.  Please encourage any eligible students to apply.  Applications must be postmarked by November 27th (Monday after Thanksgiving).

Conservation Foundation of Missouri Scholarship
CFMO offers 5 - $1000 scholarships to high school seniors or undergraduates in different natural resources areas.  Preference will be given to those demonstrating financial need.  Applications must be submitted by January 31.  Information can be found at on the same website, at

The Patriot Guard Riders of Missouri Scholarship-April 1st

The Patriot Guard Riders of Missouri Scholarship is being offered to Missouri students who are sons or daughters of those who fall within the following categories:
(1) Those who have given their lives in the line of duty, including both military and first responders (police/fire)
(2) Those honorably discharged veterans who have passed after their term of service
(3) Those veterans or first responders disabled in the line of duty to the extent that providing an advanced education cannot be easily realized.
This scholarship is a non-renewable award in the amount of $2,500 to one deserving Missouri student to help defray cost at any accredited institution of higher learning, including vocational and business schools.
An application form is attached.
