After the fire After two months of treatment and skin grafts
Since Chaa Nay Choo is stateless, he is not covered by any Thai social security system, and his treatment past and future relies on compassionate donations. Basically, had the Best Friend Library not been able to help through the contributions that were sent in to them, he probably would not have survived, as he was very close to death at one stage and suffered one episode of cardiac arrest. Baxter Healthcare and Nestle in Bangkok helped tremendously with donations of medicine.
The Best Friend Library is committed to taking Chaa Nay Choo all the way through to a full recovery, and return to a productive, healthy and happy life.
