SCSU Basketball Game Experience
by Matt Davies, 2017 (posted 10-27-15)

I recently attended a journalism conference at Southern Connecticut State University where I met Coach Scott Burrell.  Coach Burrell suggested I go to a home game.  Here is the game I attended.

SCSU was up against American International College on November 24th,2015. Southern Connecticut State University won 107-94. The highest scorer for SCSU was Michael Mallory with 43 points and SCSU scored 47 points in the first half and in the second half SCSU score 60 points.

I saw coach Burrell after the game and he was happy that SCSU won. Coach  Burrell signed his rookie card from when he was with the Charlotte Hornets. I also saw the assistant coach Michael Papale after the game and he said that it was nice to see me and he looked pretty happy about the win. Athletic Director Jay Moran says that I can go to another game and a practice and says that Scott Burrell could get me a shirt. Overall, it was Awsome game and Very good experience.
