Senior Portrait Information

Dear Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2018:

This fall begins my first year as Yearbook Advisor, and it is with great pleasure that I introduce Joey Jones from Exposures as our Yearbook photographer. This is the fifteenth year that Cheshire High School will use Exposures with whom we have had only great experiences. Joe is an “artist” with very creative abilities, and he will undoubtedly bring out the best in your son or daughter. Although we do not mandate that you have your child’s yearbook photograph taken with Exposures, I urge you to make an appointment and have the formal head/shoulder pose taken for the yearbook. The benefits of using one studio include making the production of the yearbook “flow”, and appear much more consistent, and guarantee the photographs are delivered by the due date. This is critical as we begin processing the yearbook within the first two weeks of school. It is expected that senior formals are ready when we return to school in August and no later than Oct. 20th.

If you do not use Exposures for a formal portrait session, we will offer days in September and October when Exposures comes to Cheshire High School to take senior formal head shots throughout the school day. If you have not made an appointment for portraits and only care to have a formal and retouched head shot in the yearbook, then this is your best option. Navigate to Senior Headshot Signup Form to sign up for the basic headshots offered during the school day. This is an inexpensive, easy, and seamless option. Exposures charges only $26.50 for the sitting, retouching, and a timely delivery to the yearbook staff. We will schedule portraits when school is back in session.

If you are submitting a portrait from another studio, you must adhere to the following guidelines:

• 300 dpi resolution 4x5 proportions
• Headshot – torso to above the head only, images will be cropped otherwise
• Retouched and color corrected
Upload Senior Portraits Here (or see below)
(uploading from the link above is our preferred method of submitting outside Exposures)
• Or submitted on a CD as a .jpg or .tiff image (Name on File and CD)

If you have any photography questions, please call the Exposures studio at (475) 227-0947. If you have any other questions, I may be reached at by email at

Thank you again for your cooperation in this endeavor!
