Welcome! We are glad that you have found the curriculum and instruction pages of our district web site. The task of articulating instructional objectives and clear assessment strategies to ensure that all students meet these objectives is important work that belongs to the entire learning community. Our goal is to provide clear instructional objectives with transparent assessment plans so that teachers, students, and families, will always know what they are supposed to be learning and how they will know that they have learned it. The links on the left of this page provide valuable information for learning. Click on "District Curriculum" and you will find the instructional benchmarks for each subject area or course. If that is more detail than you need, take a look at the "K-4 Student Outcomes." These provide overviews of content organized by grade levels. The "calendar" provides information regarding meeting dates for various curriculum review and school improvement groups. "School Improvement" will take you to detailed information about our district school improvement plan as well as a document that outlines district goals for the school year coming soon). Please explore all the areas of the web page, and when you have questions or comments, click on "Staff" to contact Kris Hohnke, who works for the Curriculum Department.
